Ingrown Toenails

An ingrown toenail typically occurs at the big toe.

This can be caused by naturally occurring issues outside of your control, such as an involuted shape (curved), very wide nail plate or previous trauma. However, sometimes these problems can be caused by preventable issues like tight footwear or cutting technique.

A minor procedure can be performed to address a reoccurring problem, which does not respond to conservative treatment. This is safely conducted with sterile instrumentation and local anaesthetic block, within the consulting room.

The aim is to provide a permanent solution to your problem, with endeavour to achieve a pleasing aesthetic outcome and quick return to activity.
